Scott Unger serves as a Director at Avatar Financial Group LLC (Avatar), originating commercial real estate loans nationwide. Based in Los Angeles, Scott brings over 20 years of experience spanning commercial and residential real estate, capital markets, and entrepreneurial ventures. In 1995, he co-founded Genex, a digital agency that grew into one of the largest privately held firms of its kind in the U.S. before its acquisition by Meredith Corporation (NYSE: MDP) in 2007. Earlier in his career, Scott worked with Pacific Properties Group, a real estate investment banking firm in West Los Angeles, and has personally invested in and developed over $50 million in real estate. He is a graduate of UCLA.
