Jeffrey Weingart serves as Senior Vice President of Origination at Avatar Financial Group LLC (Avatar), based in Boston. He is responsible for sourcing and underwriting commercial real estate loans nationwide, with a focus on business development and expanding Avatar’s national lending platform. Jeffrey brings over 20 years of commercial real estate finance experience, having originated more than $1.2 billion in bridge and permanent loans and underwritten over $6 billion in transactions across all major asset classes. His background includes roles in lending, investment banking, asset management, and property operations, with expertise spanning transitional, distressed, development, and stabilized properties. Prior to joining Avatar, he held senior origination roles at A10 Capital, The Bancorp, and UC Funds. Jeffrey earned a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Babson College and holds certificates in Commercial Real Estate and Real Estate Finance from Boston University.
